From Dunedin drove to Milford Sound ~ 6 hrs
Milford Sound was a highly recommended place by others, thus we went with "high expectation"... but it was not what we expected, nevertheless, it was still a beautiful trip...

Milford Sound & Te Anau are famous tourist spots! Very relaxing small towns!
If time permits, Doubtful Sound is highly recommended too!
