How is She?

I met this cute little girl last year in March when Mom was doing her daily radiotherapy treatment.
This little girl had brain tumour and also had her treatment during that period of time.
There was one morning she walked out of the therapy room with a grumpy face and walked passed us with her cute little frustrated look.
I guess she wouldn't understand why she needed to go through those treatments!
Before her family discovered that she had a tumour, the family noticed that she was smaller than other children of her age. Her physical growth was kind of slowed down and she often complained of headaches . . .
Then . . . they discovered the tumour. . .

I wonder how is she now?!
. . .
Besides this little girl, we also met a young guy, about 18 years old that had brain tumour.
He was very positive & strong!
And I wonder how is he now!?
. . .
It is always saddening to step into the hospital and see people with sicknesses, particularly with terminal diseases!
. . .
.
. . .
Only If . . . God is willing to bring me to heaven and visit Mom!
. . .

I "Like" Cute Things . . . 2

Ding Dong - Doraemon!
Wouldn't it be good if there was a Robot Cat like Ding Dong?!
So that I can be teleported back to the past or the future!
Definitely back to the past!
. . . A set of 9 Ding Dong's facial expression figurines + 1 DoRaMi, Doraemon's sister (the yellow one) . . .
Oh, the tall one isn't part of the set, it's a faulty USB :( *Cheated by the eBay seller*
A close friend - colleague suggested that I should put the facial expression that tells of my mood-of-The-Day, lest she cross-over the "fiery boundary" and bitten by a fierce human being . . . He He He!
. . . Cheeky Happy . . .
. . . Grumpy Cutey . . .
. . . Re-Ment miniature . . .
. . . That small ! . . .
. . . My nephew's and my Cute favourite bread back in Malaysia! . . .

Lindt Cafe!

Besides Cute things, I "like" chocolates too! (And "snacks a.k.a. junk food"!)
. . .
. . . On Collins Street . . .
. . . Yummm . . .

Nice ice cream! Smooth & "distinct", strong chocolate flavour & not too sweet! . . .
. . .
. . . Chocolate cheesecake . . .
. . . S e d a p . . .

I "Like" Cute Things . . . 1

Why do I like CuTe Things?!
Why Not Cute Thing?!
I guess my Sisters/Family would want to know why do I like cute (expensive & unnecessary) things!
Yes, and I have "squandered" much of their hard-earned $$$ to own them! Oh, but they are just willing and happy for me to do so!
*Grin*Grin*Grin*
. . .
#1: Doraemon Cooking Pan - a Tiny one!
A failed 'Doraemon face Omelette' - due to busy "gossiping" on . . . !
. . .

Hello Kitty face on the bread
#2: Hello Kitty Toaster!
Note: I don't really like Hello Kitty but I couldn't stop from buying it!
. . .
#3: Princess Dora Sandwich Maker!
Cute yeah? And yummy sandwiches!
. . .
#4: Hello Kitty "gasoline pump" water dispenser!
Yes, again, I couldn't resist from buying it although I don't like lil' Kitty!
. . .
#5: Coca-Cola cooler & warmer
It's a Mini fridge and a warmer!
Ain't it cute?
. . .
#6: a Small Skate Board!
It's "kind of" cute!
No, not for collection but for "ergonomic" purposes!
He he, I have a "weird" habit when I need to sit down for long hours to study or work! I need to be "comfortable" with my legs!
What do I do with it?!
.
.
.
When I'm stressed or sad I would buy 'little' (not too expensive) cute things to cheer up!
Hmm, I need to exert self-control before it becomes a "disorder"! *He He*

A "Reunion"!

The Four - [not the TVB drama series :)] once stayed, studied, served the Lord and shopped together in Perth. And from the Western side of Australia The Four moved to the Eastern side of Australia, Melbourne to start a new phase of life! But after settling down in Melbourne, The Four have been independent in their activities, some have kids and some busy with work!
And on a "Blue Moon Wednesday" we decided to go for lunch together and after the lunch we visited the "Little Cupcakes"!
. . .
. . .
. . .
. . . Cute Cupcakes . . .
. . . Guess which flavour did I choose? . . .
.
.
.

At the end of the day, The Four felt that it was a "vacation" day!
And we should have more of those "Perth" days! Those 'young and care-free lifestyles'! The Four used to stay under one roof and did almost everything together!
And I miss those days! !

Some Favourite Foods . . .

This recent trip back to Malaysia I did not feast as much, the appetite just wasn't there, but was still able to eat some of my favourite foods!
. . .
. . . Dessert House . . .
. . . ABC . . .
. . . Mango Ice, the Honey pearl is my favourite ingredient! . . .

. . . Nasi Lemak . . .

. . . Fish & co's Fish & Chip . . .
. . . Little Italy's another version of lasagne, which I can't remember the name! . . .

. . . Guess what's in the Nike bottle??? . . .
People would usually eat it @ home or at least at a proper place to enjoy it! But my sis, being smart and running late to church, filled the "delicacy" in a Nike bottle and to drink it in church!!! I was *SpEEchLeSS*. . .
. . .
So, what's in the bottle?
.
.
.
It's a sweet dessert and the ingredient is from birds' saliva!
. . .

Korean "Wind" Blowing in K.K. ?!

In recent years, Korean Mini Marts and Restaurants have been "popping" up in K.K.
Statistically speaking, for a small town like K.K. the number of available Korean marts and restaurants is considered high . . .
Not sure what is the "reason" for so . . .
They are setup and run by Koreans . . .
. . . Maybe K.K. has the "Grace"?! And thus . . .
. . .
. . . @ KK Times Square . . .

. . . @ Tg. Aru . . .

. . . @ Tg. Aru . . .

. . . @ Api Api Centre . . .

@ Home! A Korean dish cooked by my Sis!
Indeed the Korean "wind" is blowing, even in my family!
*Ha Ha*

My Secondary School.

I realised that the moment I belonged to God, I can see His guidance and plans unveiled in my life.
Although before knowing Him, I know He has been my Protector from behind.
. . .
One of the initial "prominent" plans of God in my life was directing me to my secondary school. Even though it is known as a "rich & sp**lt kids' school" but I'm one of the many the exceptions. And I met many nice and good friends there.
. . .
Ending up in this school was very unexpected but it enlarged my perspective in different things . . .
Everyday, for four years, I had to travel 20 min to school, which is considered far for a small place . . . and I passed by the beautiful bay before and after school.
. . .
. . . This was where God trained and groomed me . . .
But somehow I did "pick up" some not-so-good "desire" to buy things just to be in trends, to be like other kids . . .
*HaHa* Yes! Due to *peer-pressure*
. . .
. . . Had a great time here . . .
Thank God for His guidance & blessings!

A Kampung in Kota Kinabalu, KK.

Visited part of Mount KoKol in a recent trip back to KK.
Wondering how is the lifestyle of the people living there!?
Maybe they, too, wonder how is life in the bigger town/city?
. . .
A river! It's muddy because some "deepening" work was in progress, thus . . .
A growing pineapple . . . only to be eaten! Ha Ha. . .

A small hut/shades . . .

My wish: To have a small piece of fertile land to plant my favourite fruitsss e.g. durian, durian, durian, mangosteen (to "nullify" the heatiness of durian), mango, langsat, rambutan, and other yummy fruits as well as to plant some vegies . . . Maybe some days in the future the world might revert back to a "kampung" lifestyle, so better acquire some "green fingers" soon . . .

Was He Really Gary C.?!

A high school classmate and I were wondering if the guy in the middle of the 1st picture was Gary Chaw, the renown Taiwan-based Malaysian-born singer
. . .
Gary Chaw (Cao) is from Kota Belud, Sabah, Malaysia.
Some other classmates said that Gary C. used to study at the same high school, Maktab Nasional, as us for a short period of time.
. . .
Centre of the picture: Would that be him, Gary Chaw?!
. . .

Even the name printed at the bottom is written Gary C.h.a.w
. . .
Ha ha ha . . . At the end of the "dispute" we couldn't come to a Conclusion . . .
. . .
It was quite silly, yet funny, of us arguing over it for a moment . . .
. . .
I do not think the Gary C. in the picture resembles the Gary C. Taiwanese Singer! But my friend thought otherwise!
. . .
@_@" couldn't see any similarity except for the printed name! *Ha Ha Ha*
. . .
